A note from Ash
When I moved to Brisbane in 2008, I began working at a seafood restaurant called Fresh ‘n’ Wild Fish at Portside Hamilton.
It was there that I learned everything — from filleting fish and peeling prawns to shucking oysters and cooking seafood the right way. Over time, this became more than just a job. It became a passion.
What I loved most was the connection with people — speaking with customers, helping them choose the right seafood, and serving meals that brought families together. That feeling is what inspired me to create something of my own.
After 10 years of experience, I decided it was time to take a step forward and build something meaningful — not just for myself, but for my family.
Ash Quality Seafood is not just a business. It is a family dream.
With the constant support of my wife Pooja and my children Simran and Agam, this journey became possible. Every day, we work together to create a place where people can enjoy fresh, honest food in a warm and welcoming environment — just like family.
To us, every customer who walks through our doors is not just a customer, but part of our community.
